The game against Boston wasn't exceptional: the Rockets are 5-3 when TMac plays 30+ minutes. And TMac was gritting his teeth and well below 100% for most of those games.

Without TMac on the court people have focused so much on Swift sucking, Yao not dominating, Alston/Anderson not doing enough, Wesley being garbage, etc..

Well OK, so maybe Swift is an idiot and it will take him another 20 or 30 games to figure it out. Maybe he won't ever figure it out, but considering JVG's track record at making players defenders, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

As for Yao, so much of his expected improvement was predicated on Swift playing effectively on the defensive end. Yao's two most significant problems, foul trouble and stamina, are a result of his defensive tasks. He does seem to have made improvements on the offensive end, but playing with foul trouble and only one guy (Head) filling it up to give him relief from constant double-teams, his development isn't showing up in the box score. I expect his development to be fully visible sooner rather than later.

Let Alston (when he returns) and Anderson have a chance to learn their roles and develop chemistry with the other players before judging them.

Wesley shouldn't be an issue because he won't play more than 10 minutes a game if Alston, Anderson, Head, and Barry are healthy.

And just think: these injuries have given us a chance to see that Head is going to be awesome.

Well expect Houston to go on a little run now that Tmac is back for the remainder of the year. Wesley has played well regardless of what people say. Swift has been inconsistant but I think he is coming along now. Anderson I don't know what his deal is but I'm willing to give him a few more games to figure it out before I say dump him. Ryan Bowen should stay in the starting lineup plain and simple. Rockets are 5-12 now after the games with Sac and Portland we'll be 7-12 easy cause we matchup well and even better with those teams. We'll win those games. Go Rockets!!!
