    Did Taco Bell used to sell breakfast items?

    I could have sworn that I remember going to Taco Bell once as a little kid and ordering a breakfast item, but everyone I know says I'm nuts...

    Am I going crazy? I need closure, dammit!

    tacos were on sale once at Taco Bell for $.39...my father saw that sign as we were driving down the street, looked over at me, and said, "Son...don't ever trust anyone who tries to sell you beef for $.39."

    I've found that to be valuable advice. Do with it what you will...

    I haven't had Taco Bell in 6 weeks, man I used to love that place!

    I don't ever remember breakfast there, but I can barely remember yesterday, so don't take my word for it. If it wasn't in a movie or on The Simpsons I don't remember to much about it.

    MadMax - some more good advice, don't ever trust anyone that tries to fluff your beef for $.39 :D

    Ahhh, but you get a whole lot more than beef! You get week old wilted lettuce, processed cheese product, a taco shell, plus all the free hot sauce you want! If that's not a bargain, I don't know what is. :)

    I'm a Taco Bell expert. And yes, Taco Bell used to serve breakfast. And yes, I think I'm going to eat there for lunch.

    I eat Taco Bell at least once a week. It's a pleasant change from the usual burger joints. My usual order is this:

    Nachos Supreme
    Bean Burrito
    Crunchy Taco

    I too remember the good old $.59, $.79, $.99 days. Nachos Supremes now cost $1.59 most places, crunchy tacos are $.79, and bean burritos are $.84. But, no, I don't even remember breakfast at Taco Bell.

    Here's a question for ya'll. I had like 10 beers while playing baskeball in the pool yesterday. Passed out at like 7 PM, and my stomach still doesn't feel right. Should I eat Taco Bell for lunch?

    they took away the Tostada??? :mad:

    man back in college, I used to live off of those... As a vegetarian with little money, I survived on Tostadas!!!

    now i'm much more healthy, so i don't care. but if this was back than, i'd be writing some letters!
