To put a positive light on everything, last years team needed time to gel....this years does too. There are key new players that will need time to learn the system and learn how each other plays their game. When T-Mac comes back we will be better than last year, for sure. We have upgraded, its just hard times due to injuries....like last year. We will get back up there, and do better in the playoffs because this team is better than last years. If T-Mac takes us far, do you think he could realisticaly get the MVP. What chances do you think he has? I mean Houston does kind of get dogged by the national media and the sort of by the league itself. I just wonder if the media would take notice....I think they'd sort of have to.

Actually, our slow start may give T-Mac a better chance of winning the MVP. When he comes back and turn our team around, people will see easily how important he is to our team.

    He has my vote. :D

Yeah that's true but that would be a perfect scenario to the awkward start of the season they had. I think he's definetly a perfect MVP when healthy since he can carry this team on his shoulders. I'm hoping Yao could help him a little more though...and Swift too, I must admit he's pretty inconsistent in this new system

after being the 3rd worst team in the league for the first month without Tmac...if we can win 50 games again and make the second round (when the mvp is decided) then he should be a shoe in.

Right now LBJ is the lopsided front runner for that award. I don't see TMac win it this time. The team won 51 last season, so far they don't look like gonna win more this season. Why would they award TMac MVP?

I think the MVP is determined at the end of the season, they just hand it out, later in the playoffs.

nash did that last season, right? i mean when he was out the suns were crap and when he's back they were unbeatable and he got the mvp. so, tmac can do that! we are crap right now and will be a team to beat with a healthy tmac. ;)
