"I played with Ben Gordon at the University of Connecticut, and his preparation is superior to none"!!!! WTF?!
Fortunately, I missed her halftime comments today. She isn't very good. It's painful listening to her.
She meant to say "second to none", but Swin Cash has mastered the art of f***ing up what she wants to say. I actually feel sorry for the poor girl, she's completely in over her head and I think she's crying out for help. But she does seem like a nice gal. Someone help her maintain some dignity and get her fired already! That's the understatement of the century...but yeah, something like that.
She reminds me of Scottie Pippen when he used to do commentaries...good player, struggles with words. Not that mixing up syntax prevents people from achieving **** in life... just ask George Bush and Kenny ("will the pieces of the pie fit") Smith.
i don't think she's that bad. i think ppl just expect her to be bad because she's a woman who doesnt have much television experience. her insight is just fine.
Oh yeah, here's another gem... "He clearly has the same manurisms" -- Swin Cash on the similarities between Kobe and His Airness.
can the WNBA just fold already? I wouldn't mind the WNBA if it didn't get promoted during NBA games that I watch. I'll admit I gave the WNBA a chance during it's first season and watched a few games, but it stinks! There are some women's sports that are entertaining to watch, particularly tennis, but basketball is not one of them.
Or you're giving her a pass because she's a woman. I've seen Swin and enough other basketball commentators to make a well thought out judgement of her abilities. She sucks...hard. Clyde hard.
