besides looking at his stats I have never heard much of this guy. Rudy of course is looking for guys with range. So what is his shooting range?, and how is his D.

I think swift can hit from 15 and in. Some have compared him to garnett, so i assume he may one day hit from outside.

As for his defense, he is already a good shot-blocker, not in the class of Martin, but he may be better in a few years.

The guy is a superb athlete. Unreal. He dominated an under-the-weather chris mihm in the tournament.

He's 6'9'', and IMO one of the highest potentials in the draft (only maybe Miles, Stevenson, and Johnson could possibly have higher, and they don't have as good a chance at reaching it as Swift) Stromile is a sick athlete. He can dunk from the free throw line. His D is superb. Good shot blocker, really long player. His offense is good, as he has a post up ability, and just needs it polished ability. He has an OK mid range jumper, and I can see him having a similar result as Garnett.

Swift's shooting range is still developing; he is a good defensive player with shot blocking ability. The strength of his offensive game is in the low post. He already has good post moves that should continue to get better. He has incredible athletic ability and hops along with being a massive dunker and finisher esp. in the open court, a good comparison is Antonio McDyess or a pre-bloated Shawn Kemp. Swift would be an ideal fit with the Rockets and is going to be a special player in the NBA.

hp-Let's trade Cato for Garnett!! Or, I got a better idea-trade with Dallas for Shawn Bradley, and pick Brad Millard (7'3'', 330) then trade Cato, Bradley, and Millard for Garnett! 3 Seven Footers for 1! Minnesota would have to take a deal like that! We could even add in Thomas Hamilton to sweeten the pot!
