    Please allow me to say again: Whhhooooo Hooo!! :D

    I'm really thrilled about this move for some reason; the fact that Swift *wants* to be here means a lot to me. :)

    Now if he can just go for 18 & 10 every night. ;)

    In Sam Bowie's defense, he was a pretty consistent 13/8 when healthy. Even though a #2 pick is supposed to do better, I'll be more than satisfied if Swift averages that for us.

    WoooHoooo. Swift for MLE, that's unreal. Well, Memphix might now agree. :D

    Time to unload the dead weight and snatch a decent point, then we will be all set. We are one PG away from being really really good.

    Madd props to CD, JVG, T-Mac. Much love to the entore Rockets organization. And we've gotta do something to issue an enormous round of applause to Stromile Swift. Here's a 25 year old who chose to take less money to come and play for our town. He could've also chosen a less demanding brand of basketball in NJ, but ultimately decided to play hard for us (You know JVG will be much more harsh incomparison to LFrank).

    This is really a wonderful day for Rockets basketball. The future is looking ridiculously sweet.

    Oh yea!!! Yes!!! :D :D :D

    I love the snowball effect. #1 pick (2002) -> Yao -> T-mac -> Swift -> Who knows???

    People will be coming to play for us for less than normal. NICE!!!!

    Just like his agent said, i think it was our loyalty and consistency in getting Swift that got us over the top. Unlike others teams, like NJ, who said "well we want SAR, but i guess we'll take Swift :rolleyes: ".

    You know, oddly, I took a break from reading Harry Potter to check this message board because I had a strange feeling this had happened. It did. I think I might be a wizard.

    Amazing news! If this is the only major move the Rockets make this offseason, I'll be pleased. However, I'm very interested in seeing if the Rockets follow this up with other moves.
