After the disastrous RFA decable with Chandler, the missing out on big names, and the dumping of Lin/Asik I was feeling pretty terrible about the season and the Rocket's immediate future, but to be honest, I'm starting to feel cautiously optimistic. Ariza replaces Parsons fairly well, Nick Johnson is looking good, Troy Daniels will see plenty of playing time and we can see exactly what he is made of, and if T-Jones can improve closer to his ceiling and a bunch of role players on smaller contracts perform well, I could absolutely see the more mature team of this year outperforming last year's lineup. It's going to be alright.
