    Basketball (NBA)
    ---------------------------------------------------

+ Only one team in the last 30 years has finished the season at #1 in both total offense and total defense. (1995-96 Bulls)

+ Karl Malone and Steve Nash have one less MVP (combined) than Shaquille O'Neal (1), Hakeem Olajuwon (1), John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Adrian Dantley (0), Pete Maravich (0), and Moses Malone (3) combined

+ Shaquille O'Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Alonzo Mourning, and Patrick Ewing all never averaged at least 30.0 ppg in a season. (Wait...wait...wait)

+ Paul Pierce, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Jerry Stackhouse, Dwayne Wade (has come close, though), and Tracy McGrady have never had a 50% FG and up in a season.

+ No one has ever been able to duplicate Oscar Robertson's triple double season, but truth be told alot of players have been far closer and far much more greater than Jason Kidd's effort.

+ Only player has ever been able to average over 30 ppg and 10 assist (Tiny Archibald)

+ The only African-American player to dye color his hair (red, blue, silver, or green) and lead the league in rebounding at least once is Dennis Rodman

+ In the last twenty years, the two highest rebounding totals (35 and 34) in a single game is not held by Rodman, Barkley, Ewing, or Mutombo.....the two are Ronny Seikaly and Charles Oakley.

Shaq had career highs in both rebounds (13.9) and blocks (3.5) as a rookie.

Yep, that's when he stopped being as focused on fitness and defense, he could still be great and lazy. One of the few people to ever call him out on it was Kobe Bryant...and you see what happened to their relationship.
