I purchased a pair of Ray Bans that were polarized for about $125 in late March and lost them about a month afterwards. Last time I pay that much for a pair of sunglasses- but they were awesome.
The last pair of sunglasses I bought was at Big Lots for 1.99 and the most I've ever spent was 10 bucks at Wal-Mart. I've never liked sunglasses, I've bought maybe 5 in my entire life, and it was mostly from like 12-15 years old. Then when I was like 16 I got one of those goofy sunburns on my face and the place where my sunglasses were was stark white. Scarred me for life. I hate wearing them anyways, they make my nose sweaty.
I never spend much on Sunglasses. They either get lost, broken, or go out of style too fast for me to justify dumping more than $20 a pair on them.
I'll typically pay $70-$150 for mine. I'm not saying that's what everyone should do, but I've personally found that cheap no-name brand glasses tend to warp my vision a slight bit and can give me headaches after a while. Since I don't do well with light, especially when driving, that made the bigger buys worth it. Evan
I got a pair of Oakley's probably 10 years ago for $125, and then I lost 'em a couple months ago. Then, I replaced them with a new pair of $150 Oakleys which I intend to have last me for about the same time. Then, about a week after I lost the original pair (which are very scratched up), I found them. So, I got a couple pairs of some pretty decent sunglasses.
i have like 3 pairs of sunglasses. 2 in the car, 1 for me and 1 for me or a guest depending on who is riding wit me other pair my sister jacked from.
maui jim sandy beach model. got em 25% off the retail price of CAD$189 in vancouver. very good for jogging and it doesnt look too sporty that you cant wear them for other things. i get sex 73% more than before and when combined with some collar popping action, i get close to twice than often.
sorry to derail it. i might get some regular glasses later in the summer. what's a good place to purchase prescription glasses?
