you can clean my dad's house, mow the yard, clean the pool and other stuff...for about 5 clams to the nickle...
Although crack w**** and prostitute are certainly appealing, you may want to look into other options as well. My last year at college (1994) I actually worked at Starbucks and I have to admit as temporary jobs go, it wasn't half bad. They were flexible on hours, the pay was decent, they have a fantastic benefits program, the other employees were pretty cool, I got a hefty discount on merchandise, a free pound of coffee beans every week and all the coffee I could guzzle during my shift. Believe it or not, when I was hired there weren't even any Starbucks open in Houston yet -- we trained in a warehouse off 290. Now they're everywhere, so you shouldn't have trouble finding one near where you live.
as tempting as it may NOT be i dont think ill take anyone up on their ideas of being a crack w****, prostitute or hooker. i think you have to be 18 to work at starbucks and im 17 till july.
I worked at the Museum of Natural Science all throughout high school. They have summer classes for little kids about science and stuff. I was a teacher assistant and primarily worked with the Coastal Ecology class. We took the kids to Galveston or Surf Side everyday. They pay was not great, but I loved what I did which made it worth it. I worked about 35-40 hours a week for about 8-9 weeks, so it was pretty much full time. I have great friends I made there, which also made it a lot of fun. It was just a great job! It's also where I met Lynus!
Hostess or Busboy at Outback. I did that my senior year and I'd make around $60 a shift on weekdays, $80 on weekends. Time went by fast, plus you get kickass discounts.
You could always work in your friendly, neighbourhood chicken plant. Here chickie-chickie... B'awk, b'awk, b'awwwk.
Oh, your grammar threw me. What you meant was: "Lynus?? What happened to us? I thought we had something going." Either way, you probably aren't Lynus' favorite person right now.
