Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is f*cking incredible. One of the 5 best CDs I have ever owned. If the newest one comes even close to being like it, I will be satisfied.

You mean this really heavy group Converge!!! The ones with the once heavier riffs then Slayer? I still have an almost new t-shirt
from them, dating back to about 1995? (is this possible)?

Then you should like this one a lot as well. They are remarkably consistent.

I liked their video with Pamela Anderson. I am not admirer of her work, but that video was kinda great.

Well, there might be a good reason for that.

I saw them after "Strap It On" about 13 or so years ago, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen (was in Houston too, by the way). They seemed to lose power as they increased production value and as the lead guy started actually trying to sing. He sounds like he has the worst case ever of white-man-close-eyes-look-like-he's-taking-a-dump-to-sound-serious syndrome.

Wow, can't believe people here like Converge, nice.

The new Bad Religion is what I was waiting for and it is great. Best offering in since Stranger then Fiction.

The new Dilinger Escape Plan is going to be insane also.

Absolutely! Have you ever been to the Orange Show? It's the proverbial trip. I saw Bonnie "Prince" Billy there a month or so ago--they played R. Kelly's "Ignition". :D

You'd think they'd develop a vaccine for that one, it's really becoming an epidemic.

I want to go to that. I just want to see the Cure one time in my life. I thought their 2000 Dream Tour was going to be their last tour ever. I thought they were breaking up.

I have absolutely nobody to go with it. I think I have one buddy who just might go, I remember him singing 311 in the Car. So I figured he might be the top candidate.

Just an aside. Has anybody picked up, Join the Dots? It is a four cd pack, and book. It is most of their B-Sides and Rare songs. I just picked it up Thursday. That stuff is pretty neat.

I was browsing through this one book, and man, dude is wearing a number 22, Emmit Smith Jersey.
I was thinking to myself, my Man, Bob, dude, you're actually wearing that?
