The thing I dont understand about Subway is they say sandwiches are $5. When I get my subway, it comes out to be $6.50+.
Convenient and cheap can't argue with that. There's a reason why there's 33 some odd thousand Subway's in the world with $9+ billion in revenue (2006) figure.
It's because 1-8 is 5.36 with taxes, the rest are 6.44 besides the philly cheese steak. FYI: i work at subway... but not for long.
i don't know why either.. maybe because they aren't that good. Vietnamese sandwiches> Subway sandwiches, nuff said.
this. funk yes. this is supreme, seeing that i had not had a decent philly since i was in the ny. its a ugly but satisfying subsitution. also i just get it plain no condiments, or veggies, unless theyre sauted (did i spell that right?). but subz dont roll dat way. yo but murphy's deli is alright.
Subway. I eat there at least 3-4 times a week. I always get their Veggie Delight with extra Chipotle Southwest and Spicy Mustard.
This is not even debatable. Quizno's is far and away better. I have never had a good sandwich at Subway, they have always tasted like ****. They are not as bad as Jimmy John's but still pretty horrible.
I agree with this. I hear a lot about the $5 subs at subway, but I can spend $5 and get a great Vietnamese sandwich on the corner near my apartment for the same price. I always go for local over chain type places, the quality is always better and the price is never a substantial difference.

Quiznos has better tasting sandwiches. Subway used to have bigger and better bread when you didn't have choices. Quiznos toasted there sandwiches from the beginning which is why I like it. Of curse, subway now toasts their bread; however, it still doesn't have the feel of a Quiznos toasted bread. I'm addition , Quiznos was a pioneer when it came to putting sauces on their sanwiched. Last but not least, Quizno sandwiches tend to have the same nutritional content as the newly constructed Subway sandwiches. I always laugh when you see in the soda cup that a sandwich at subway can be ~300 calories (with no cheese, sauce, mayo, etc.). Not very practical! Therefore, Quiznos it is....
I've become a big fan of Which Wich lately... Subway is usually where I go when I want to fill up for $5...I still prefer Quiznos over it though.
Damn some of you are picky nancy eaters. I like them all. If forced to choose, I would role with Schlotzkis
Nobody goes to Subway because it's the best sandwich you can get. You go to Subway because you get a filling, relatively good/healthy sandwich on the cheap. My personal favorite for taste is Firehouse.
