I make the better sandwiches because I tell them what to put on my sandwich at Subway. Quiznos doesn't really allow me to express my creativity.

I love Schlotzsky's. But, since I am typically a healthy eater, Subway it is.

Subway by a mile...it all depends on what type of nutrition lifestyle you live tho. If all you care about is satisfying your taste buds and not have a conscience in what you eat, then Quiznos. But, for a health nut like myself, Subway is the way to go. Gotta eat fresh.

Better tasting - Quiznos and its not even close

    Better value - Subway

More healthy - I suppose you can make either one healthy as long as you hold back on cheese, mayo and fatty sauces.

No matter how hard I try to come up with a new combination at Subway... everything tastes the same. Very bland and unflavorful yet the sandwich odor is very pungent and distinct. CAN NOT stand the smell.

Quiznos has gone downhill a lot in comparison to when they first opened. They both suck equally and they should only be consumed as a last resort with so many places to get a sandwhich but if I had to choose one over the other I guess Quiznos.

The only good subway sandwich is the Philly Cheesesteak.

Neither. Haven't been to Subway in about 7 years. Haven't been to Quiznos in about 8 or 9 years.

Local delis tend to have much better sandwiches for maybe a dollar or 2 more. I'd rather support the local guy than the corporation when I can.

Also. I've never had a sandwich from Subway that I though was better than moderately okay.

Taquerias and vietnamese sandwich shops cost about the same as corporate sandwich shops and taste infinitely better in my opinion.

It's nice to know there are others out there with taste buds that actually work.

    Quiznos is garbage.

Tastes gross and isn't even healthy. You can say you don't like Subway, but at least it's healthy.

Quiznos puts some nasty sauces in there.

I don't disagree, but people go to these places for the consistency. A sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich from a subway in Philly is probably going to taste exactly the same as a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich in Seattle. It's basically the same reason anyone goes to, say, the Olive Garden. Any large city in America probably has 50 better Italian restaurants than Olive Garden. But people still flock there.

I don't think consistency is the right word. Unless you mean they're consistently bad to mediocre depending on who you ask.

    More like

    A) They don't know
    B) They don't have taste buds
    C) They're afraid to explore
    D) All of the above.

    E) Convenience, cheap, and healthy. And I think Subway actually tastes pretty decent for a work lunch. It helps that you can choose which fresh veggies you get.

Where did I say it was consistently good? Consistency is the right word. It's the same.

In some cases this might be the case, probably less than you'd think. I think most people know that if they looked around, they could find better alternatives. This is in big cities, mind you. A lot of smaller, middle-of-nowhere-ish towns? Sadly, there aren't a lot of places that are much better than the Subway or Quiznos.

I don't think this is the case.

No doubt this is sometimes the case, but this doesn't go against what I said. People usually like stuff they're familiar with.
