do you just mean sort it in ascending order? just highlight the cells and either click the sort button (the one with A and Z and a down arrow) or go to Data and Sort. or maybe i misunderstood the question.
Right now it's like this: 376281 482901 874633 984762 I want to replace that with: 1 2 3 4 If there weren't over 2600 rows, I'd just do it manually.
You can edit the first three cells or so: 1 2 3 Highlight those three cells from top to bottom then double click on the square on the bottom right of the selection.
