stupid computer question

    How can I download zip files without having them automatically get unzipped? I already went into control panel/folder options/file type and set it to not open them, but the problem continues.

    If it's a hyperlink, you can right mouse click > Save Target as ...

    yeah should have clarified, in this case there's like a middleman. right-clicking not an option. thanks though :)

    Use FireFox. It downloads them and saves them to my desktop till I want to open them.

    I have winrar as my default though, so that might be part of the reason.
