Saw this show last night @ Tinsletown in The Woodlands the show started at 10:20 and the line for ROTK was already 100+ long! anyways, Stuck on You was a major disapointment. Not real funny. Certainly doesn't live up to the Farralley Brothers standards established by Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber. Cher has a big part in this film and she looks so 'plastic' on the big screen now its pretty scary. If you look closely, Ricky Willams and Tom Brady make appearances. But if you've seen the previews, you've already seen the funniest parts of this movie. I give it 2 out 5 flaming moes
This movie to stupid even for me. I like almost any good comedy but this just looks stupid. Save your money and see Bad Santa if you havent already
I have seen Bad Santa.........It was freakin hilarious.......It is a movie for adults and not for the easily insulted.......I laughed my ass off. I have heard that Struck on You sucked......
It wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be, but I still thought it was a good movie. I think I'll find it funnier in five months when it comes out on video.
Definitely not the best Farrelly movie, but still decent entertainment. Bad Santa was freakin hilarious though!
The Farrelly's have lost their edge. Their movies have become too middle of the road...any director could have made this movie.
Very funny Smeg. I don't think I'll be doing it in any official way like in the past. I have been toying with the idea of starting the movie reviews again. IROCit, what's wrong with making light of a situation like that? Many people make light of less than desirable situations, it's how they deal with it. The Farrelly Brothers had conjoined twins as advisors to the movie to make sure they didn't do anything too insensitive, however.
I seriously doubt that just any director/directors would make a comedy about conjoined twins. Please tell me about how they've gone middle of the road?
Okay I just watched the movie today. It's getting more hate than it deserves, if you're looking for slapstick humor well it's not going to deliver. But some of the humor is great and it's overall a sweet movie. Yes the funniest parts are in the trailer, but there's more to the movie and I really liked it. "what's a four letter word for snatch?" ... "grab?" "oh... oops" hahaha
The Farrelly brothers next movie is called "The Ringer". It's about two guys who decide to rig the Special Olympics to pay off a debt by having one of them pose as a contestant in the games, hoping to dethrone reigning champion, Jimmy.
