What are you doing playing the point in HS being that tall? Even David Wesley didn't play the point. I like to make sounds too after I rip someone, except I say "yoinks" and it's not as cool.

The most embarassing moment was when i was at a rec centre, and iwas playin d on a guy that didnt have the ball he pulled ym shorts down LOL.

And for the bright part, the same guy. (i was 15 then..im 16 now) we were playing one on one at the park, and hes like 18. I had the ball, with just 1 more point to score. I crossed him by faking left, and i saw his ankle like..make that very awkward movement asif its about to twist. Once i saw that, i drove right by him for the win.

Heres another, i was in gym class, and it was a long rebound that ended up in the corner almost(defensive rebound) i got it and i was double teamed, and well..since not many people saw me getting doubled, they ran onto offense. so i was dribbling low and fast trying to break the doulbe team. I lost the ball,it hit my knee, but i managed to tap the ball thru one of the guys legs and run off and make a sweet behind the back pass for an easy layin.

I knew i lost the ball, but everyone else thought i pulled off a SICK and1 move. LOL

    fun stuff

I guess it is all just karma, because I've made a couple of people fall before. One time I stole the ball at half court and turned around only to have a defender in front of me...so I dribbled right then crossed him to the left, and the guy lost his footing and slid to his left and almost hit his face on the ground. Still one of my proudest moments hehe jk. I felt sorry for the dude because it was on concrete, that must've hurt pretty bad.

playing at the local fitness center i got stuck guarding this guy who was like 6'6 or so and could jump out of the building. he talked a lot of crap but heck i would to if i could dunk the way he did. anyways he had a breakaway and i ran back and tried to step in and "take the charge" of course all that did was end up with me on my back on the floor and him dunking over me. Everyone was screaming and clowning me I was pretty upset. I got down and tried really hard on defense whenever he had the ball and strip him a few times the next few posessions, he didnt score again, not because i played lock down defense, but more so he went always for the flashy espn move rather than the easy one.

the best part of the game?
i hit the game winning 3 right over his outstreched arm and seeing all his boys start clowning on him.

other than that i got blown by quite a bit i dont have the greatest lateral quickness, i make people look like fools on the offensive end though in the post so it balances out.

My own soccer story: Some guy was talking crap a la your english dude above and was really getting on my nerves (he was not very good anyhow). Anyhow, right in front of his crowd, I half volleyed the ball right into his nads. Hard. I mean, really, really hard (back in the day I could play pretty well - now I'm old and weak).

He falls over and crumples into a little ball, making a "oooooogghsdhd" type sound. The crowd makes a similar "ooooooh!" gasp, and I could swear I saw some of the guys on the sideline cringe.

Ball bounces right back to me. What to do....

I hammered that ball right back into the square of his back while he was still writhing on the ground. Made a wicked smacking sound.

    Owned. :D

never been juked. Most guys who go crazy with the dribble don't got a jumpshot I'm afraid of, so I jus sit back and them do their thing and then get in the way a la Battier once they take that first real step forward. It's the playground so I don't have to beat him to the spot :D I'm such a b*stard.

I've been blocked several times. It's pretty embarassing each time.

Worst I've ever embarassed anyone was putting when I crossed it between the legs of this supposedly ex-juco player who was talking smack to me the whole game cuz I was the only Asian guy on the court. He tripped turning aorund to try to catch up to me heehee. Too bad I blew the layup because they had a 6'6" guy who has the longest arms in teh world (he jumped one the left side of the rim and still managed to block my shot on the right side of the rim while in mid air. The other guy shut up though :D

LOL, at Kam's posts in this thread. :D

When I worked for Enterprise Rent A CAr, we had a tourny and ended up playing a bunch of guys who played at Fonde every weekend. I ended up guarding some dude that was 6'6, 210 of pure muscle.

He dunked on me and did a few "and 1" moves on me like dribbling through my legs that got the LARGE crowd ooh-ing and ah-ing. Later, I set a Yao Ming-like pick that knocked him on his ASS, but no one noticed.

I saw the guy at the Christmas party later that year and he remembered me. We both laughed about it. Pretty funny moment.
