Faraza, you're asking people to be stupid fans. A fan doesn't have to blindly love all the players just because the players are on the fan's favorite team. Fans pay heftily for their loyalty in more than just cash; we are therefore entitled to bashing the **** out of whomever we see fit.
I'm pretty sure trying to stop people bashing players/team is pretty much impossible, its also unnecessary and unconstitutional. I only have a problem if posters go to the lengths of making personal remarks about family members etc. To express frustration/anger whatever about a players shortcomings/injuries whatever is sometimes a necessary outlet to get us fans through the hard times. And that's what we are - FANS - not Cheerleaders!
On this board, it used to be that if you hate Mcgrady you aren't a true Rockets fan. Well f that. T-wack sucks! I love how people see him as a god on this forum, oh and when we get out of the 1st round this year, it's going to be because of Artest & Yao not T-wack. Wheres my buddy Antisonic/AntiTwack at?
when the rox win the championship, all the bashers will come back the next year and say the rox cant do it again. its never ending. there were bashers when dream was around.... enjoy a good team with nice players. some of the htown bashers are spoiled a$$ f@ckers that dont know what they got until you have nothing to root for (yao, mac, artest, landry, dorsey, barry, comon?). rox got a great team and i'm looking forward to a great season....bashers or not. dont like the rox? go root for josh and the mavs!
^You sound like one of those morons that likes to tell people, "Love America or leave it!" We have a right to be critical of the team because we are fans. You can choose to be a blind follower that trusts and believes everything he hears coming from the organization, or you can open your eyes and do your own thinking. Just like the people that chose not to settle for the America we once were(slavery, no woman's rights, etc...) we dont have to settle for anything since we are PAYING CUSTOMERS. That's right, we've paid our hard earned money to see this team continuously fail. Sorry if we just dont sit back, keep our mouths shut and follow blindly. We're skeptical for a reason. It doesn't make us less of a fan. It just makes us someone with a brain that can think for themselves without having it fed to us from the organization.
