Did I smell something? Behad, close your legs!

I'd love Dream to beat MJ. Any real Rocket fan would.

I've finally got a good reason to get a Raptors jersey, one which doesn't read "Carter" behind, but "Dream". The Lakers and Raptors jerseys are probably one of the sharper looking ones.

What's with the black socks? Is he back to playing soccer again?

Hakeem had 15 boards tonight. Too bad his shooting wasn't present.

I am a Hakeem fan, who thought he should have retired last year. If he's happy in Toronto---good. It will be good not to see anymore Hakeem isolation offense and him trying to dunk. I have a lot of great memories of Hakeem but things change and some players get old. If the Rockets had him this year, when Hakeem was in the game, everyone would just stand around the three point line waiting for Hakeem to shoot or throw them the ball. At that point, I would turn the channel and watch Ice Hockey...Mark my words, if Hakeem plays every night an injury will come.

Seeing Hakeem throw that block on Jordan REALLY made my stomach churn. (of course I know three months from now, Hakeem will be nursing some sort of injury...)

    They're special medical socks!

Dude, I'm being 100% serious. They will *apparently* keep the circulation in his legs going and allow him to play a whole season(barring other injury).

There was an article about it in the Toronto papers:

    Orthopedic socks.

Orthopoedic socks is a bit misleading - ortho=foot.

From what I can recall - they're neoprene and help keep the legs warm and blood flowing - kinda like a wetsuit would (neoprene as well). He joked about Ewings injuries being serious and his "cosmetic" because of the appearance of his legs. If it helps, then who cares. They don't look as bad as some of them lexan facemasks that many players have adorned in years past.
