You have to find time to visit the Vasa, basso, if you can. It's amazing. So are the number of beautiful people, of both sexes, just walking around. All I can figure is that the Vikings plundered stunning women from every part of Europe that they could reach, and brought them home. The same could be said for the other Skandinavian countries. The local human scenery is rediculously good.

The Vasa, which lasted all of 20 minutes on its maiden voyage in 1628, is incredibly preserved.

"East" turned out to be a hybrid Sushi-Ceviche place, quite good, and made better by the parade of pulchritude prancing by our table.

It's the sheer volume of beauty that impresses; remarkable in such a small country. surprising number of gingers too.

the stewardesses on SAS however, failed to live up to my childhood memories, but perhaps their matronly aspect is just typical of the airline industry as a whole now.

Deck- thanks for the Vasa recommendation- I have a few hours this afternoon, and that looks like a good bet. I'm hoping to spend tomorrow wandering around Gamla Stan.

Went to the Vasa yesterday, really an incredible ship, story museum. I took a bunch of pictures, which I'll post later, although it's hard to get a true sense of just how big the thing is.
