come on guys, this guy just had different opion upon Yao, you won't expect everyone on this board to agree with you on everything? would you..give him some love and some of his points are right, Yao do has a long way to go to become one of the greatest. we should encourage different thoughts instead all trash him because of he said something different to our ming that is the way to grow if someone can tell your weakness..I remember Wang said Thank you after some news reporter wrote that Wang can't rebounds or defend. Wang said Thank you to inform his weakness, so he can improve and work hard on it.

GB is just jealous. Since his team didn't get Yao, he is hoping with all his might that Yao will be a bust. Yao had a good (not great) game against NBA All-Stars who were "out to get him." I couldn't believe on ESPNews that 20% of the people watching him play still thought he was going to be a bust (the internet poll). My guess is they were Bulls, Warriors, Grizzlies or Knicks fans.

Good one, BK. He really is. I've been stoked about Yao since Clutch posted the links to those videos. But I'll own up that wondering how he would do against NBA competition crossed my mind, as it did everyone else. Still, seeing him last night was a revelation. NBA All-Stars gunning for him, and he gets those kind of numbers. Amazing... and it amazed the US squad. Hell, I haven't heard George Karl THAT impressed by anyone in years! Wilt??? Whoa! And gettinbranded thinks we've been seized by a fit of irrational exuberance. Ha! Unimpeded court vision with a brain and the skills to go with it. A deft touch, great hands, and some signature moves already. And he rebounds, blocks shots, and can steal the rock. Give your head a shake! Wake up and get over it, gettinbranded... we've got him and da Bulls don't! Yao's going to make Cat an All-Star with his threat to score, his passing, and the publicity that's coming our way. GinBD is a good poster, he was just off the mark in this one. There probably hasn't been a rookie since TD that would have played as well against the US team last night with the Chinese supporting cast--and that includes some might fine one's such as Brand, Gasol and Francis. Off course it is one game. But does anyone still believe Ming could be another Bradley?
Maybe he's getting banned for an entire body of work, a sort of lifetime achievement award for being a career troll if you will.
I am going to second this one. Why not just ban him from the Rockets forum? He is pretty cool in the Hangout... after all he is a Chicago Bears fan (like me), you can't ban a Bears fan!
