He looks EXTREMELY nervous and trying a little too hard to put on a show with those moves. It's good for him though. He's still hustling. The steal was nice and the assists were there. Hope we get to see him take off for a dunk!

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE STATS (ON MINUTES). It surely appears that Nelson is playing favorites to his players. Steve got what 5 minutes in the first half? Looked like Nash & Dirk got about 12 + minutes.

Steve got nine minutes and Nash had 13. It was obvious favoritism.

Steve's going to go scoreless tonight, I can just feel it. You'd never know he even played in the game. This All-Star weekend has mimicked the entire season. It's been a tremendous disappointment.

maybe he's not getting minutes due to headaches....I heard that he was questionable for today's game. Or, KG didn't play much in the second quarter either. I wouldn't be surprised to see them both get major minutes in the 3rd. Don Nelson is going to get his players good minutes, but i don't think he'd intentionally give others the shaft.

Remember that year when magic came back, and was added on as a 13th member to the team? Well, remember who got screwed due to that? Yep- Otis Thorpe. He only played four minutes that year, and scored 2 points. Did he ever even make another all-star game?? I'm guessing not, unless it was as a Sacramento King....

PEOPLE RELAX THIS IS STEVE'S FIRST ALL STAR GAME AND IT WILL NOT BE HIS LAST HES A TAD NERVOUS BUT I SEE HE GOT A STEAL AND A FEW ASSIST SO NOT A BAD START TO HIS FIRST ALL STAR APPEARANCE.

Exactly, it seems Garnett (sp?), Webber and Stevie are getting less minutes than the second unit. You wouldn't know they were actually the bloody starters. If the fans wanted to see Nash play they would have voted his ass in as a starter, this is ridiculous.

Yea, but Nash was playing like ****, during that cold streak (the west had), and then the starters returned to take over the game. But Nelson kept Dirk & Nash in, instead of Garnett & Franics. Something sounds fishy.

DID ANYBODY CATCH THE WEST PRACTICE MATCH? Nelson stated that everybody would get equal minutes, BUTTTTT the last 5 minutes of the game would go to whoever is playing better. Who wants to bet that Dirk & Nash are in the game?

Seems like his teammates aren't even looking for him. Game is getting very ragged.

Ouch, they just threw the graphic up - Steve Francis only player w/ 0 points.

    Snapper is snappin' on him!

    Damn.

Every one of us needs to boo Don Nelson every bit as hard as we do Scottie Pippen. No one is going to remember that he had migraines. The general perception around the league, if he doesn't score, is that Stevie didn't deserve to be there and that he's overrated. For the second straight half, Francis is benched before any other Western starter. Bull****.

Francis DOES have a migraine. His minutes arre related to his health.

Look at his face. He looks AWFUL. He probably shouldn't even be playing.

I doubt Steve will play again tonight. What an awful showing. Horrible in the dunk contest, horrible in the All-Star Game. It's been a horrible season.

Probably not... I predict it'll be just like the first half. Starter Francis gets a half of a quarter, Gary Payton gets a half of a quarter, and Steve Nash gets a full quarter. NELSON SUCKS!

They gotta put him in towards the end so he can score. Take Kobe out and put Wink in, Kobe's taking 24 stinkin shots. HE'S SUCH A STINKIN' BALL HOG.
