Ok I realize not many people here like me, but I am here as a rational NBA fan, and that doe sinclude the Houston Rockets. I like Steve Francis. I wish the bulls would have drafted him instead of Elton Brand in 99. The Bulls would have a sweet lineup right now consisting of Brand, Curry, Francis, and possibly still Jalen Rose. Anyway, that is in the past. I just wanted to say that he is awesome, and enjoy that guy, as those players come only once a decade or so. (oscar robertson, dr. j, magic johnson, michael jordan, and maybe someday steve francis). i don't consider iverson close to steve. I think he has many more skills, including the ability to be a leader that iverson just doesn't have.
Right now, if you base it on results, Iverson led the Sixers to the finals last year and has em fighting for their lives right now, and Francis has led the Rockets to nothing. However, the Rockets SUCK without Francis as exposed by that 15 game losing streak and we're just mediocre with Francis. But that's in the past...
jjd, being a Bulls fan is your right. However, to be in this forum you must discuss the draft. Otherwise, go to NBA Dish. This would be a suitable topic in the Dish forum. Now, as far as trade and draft scenarios, I suggest you propose something like "what do you guys think about our #1, our #30, and Chandler for Steve Francis?" That certainly would get you some response in this forum.
