Well, I went to www.stevefrancis.com, and I must say I was a little dissapointed. I couldn't find many pics of Steve, and the stats from his rookie seasonw were nowhere to be found. I emailed them at info@stevefrancis.com, but the guy wasn't very responsive and didn't seem to know much about basketball. What struck me as shocking was how rude the guy was. He kept mumbling something about furniture...I really don't think the webmaster was much of a Steve Francis fan at all...I think we should all start an e-mail writing campaign to get this travesty of a Steve Francis site redone... BTW, the main page of the site said "Steve Francis and Associates. Just exactly who are these associates they speak of, and how do I become one?? I think being an associate of Stevie Franchise would be pretty cool... ------------------ Does anybody have a cool idea for a signature??
furniture--eh? do you think he is some type of aggressive up-and-coming salesman for Gallery Furniture who was computer savvy enough to snap up the domain name? I'm going to write him to ask how his girlfriend is doing.
one note - www.stevefrancis.NET - they at least know the right extention to use - is registered to Steve Francis according to Network Solutions whois. The site comes up and has a "Coming Soon - Steve Francis Website - Go Rockets!" logo on it. ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" SaveOurRockets.com
Actually, if the site belongs to Steve's agent or Steve himself and he is an employee of the NBA then I seriously doubt it. My guess is that the NBA will ask him to link his site, etc, but they aren't going to go after one of their own. The NFL and MLB might but not the NBA. ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" SaveOurRockets.com
That site is a furniture site not a basketball player related site .... but what a cheap way to get accidental hits eh ? ------------------ What now ?
