Warning Playing for the Golden State Warriors causes inflation of stats and false interpretations.

Examples: Every player on the Warriors roster.

It doesn't inflate the fact that he has the purest jump shot this side of the Mississippi. I just like watching the kid shoot.

You can't inflate a dead-eye jumper and what appears to be a pretty good ability to get others involved. I would swap Brooks for him right now.

I'd give them Bud and AB for that Gem.

I'll be the first to admit that I thought Curry was going to be a bust in the NBA and that his game wouldn't transfer to the pro level. I was dead wrong. He's as legit as they come in terms of stroke. He's also a good decision maker and has a natural feel for the game. What I like most is that he's a good rebounder for a pg as well. I think Curry is going to be a special player for many years to come.

He also pulled the best Dream Shake impersonation tonight. A move that "bamboozled" the Birdman. SO SICK.

Stats may be a bit inflated because of Golden State's system, but watching him play this year, you cannot deny his court vision and passing. Not only can he shoot it, but he is almost always looking to pass the ball to a teammate and get them a good shot. His size puts him at a disadvantage defense wise but his point guard skills are just going to get better. He's going to be a good PG for years to come.

Give me a break, don't diss Ellis his TOs when he's the 2nd highest player in minutes played and obviously plays tired. And don't diss Curry if you haven't seen him play, which is clear you haven't. You watch more than 5 minutes of this kid and anyone will realize that this rookie is more than just a boxscore.

IMO, Curry > Evans. Just a personal preference since I prefer the shooter's touch over driving power. And to top it all of, Curry is an excellent point guard, not just a scorer; fantastic vision and just an amazing passing finesse.

Stephen Curry is giving Tyreke Evans a run at ROY....Curry is a beast, he is just so smart, his vision and his passing is what surprises me the most about him...i knew that he could score and shoot...but his basketball IQ and passing is fantastic.

Ricky Rubio with a jumper and scoring ability = Stephen Curry

Stats might be inflated but you can't teach poise like his. He runs the PnR like a seasoned veteran. Dude knows exactly when to fire a pass to the roller, when to reset, or when to take a shot (usually). He's just such a smart player.

I'd give up Brooks, CBud and whoever else for him. He's legit.

wow, one pick away could've changed things a lot for Ny. He wanted to go there and they wanted him, that combo in dantoni's offense would be a beauty to watch, I feel bad the kid has to go through donnie and golden state's mess

Didn't we go through this with Monta Ellis? And to a lesser extent, Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson? I might've missed some others too.

Curry may or may not look great. But until the Warriors matter, I'm going to reserve judgment.

I kept telling you Stephen Curry was the best player in this draft not named Ricky Rubio.

In the 4 to 6 games i've seen of the Warriors this year, he looks special. He seems to just know what to do on the basketball court. He has a very bright future

Beautiful! I didn't think Curry would have this kind of impact. I'll enjoy watching him for a long time.

Like a lot of rookies who do well in the long-term, he just needed some time to gauge himself against NBA competition before starting to really shine. Now that he's done that, the full repertoire is out for everyone to see. If Curry keeps up the stellar display of skills along with the production, I predict he will edge Tyreke Evans for R-O-Y.

jopatmc, I don't see how anyone could think Rubio is better than Curry. I really hope Rubio comes to the NBA next year to try and prove me wrong.

just the fact that he can shoot will keep him in the league a long time, but add in some handles and passing skills, you got yourself a hell of a player. i'd love him on the rockets, and it'll never happen but he'd be a great fit with Yao in the paint.
