Could you ask your inside source (the one that told you that no GMs wanted Rafer) how many GMs were knocking down SF3s door this summer? While you're at it, ask him how many millions one GM was willing to pay him NOT to play on their team. Thanks.
Rafer had an amazing 20:1 ast/TO ratio in the preseason. He also shot 48% from the field and 45% from 3. That's good, but his shot got exposed as the preseason went on. If we're to succeed in the playoffs, we'll need a better option at point than Rafer. If MJ can't replace him as a starter, or we can't get a better option, our ceiling is very low.
