The statement I have made just confirms the fact that the Rockets have hit their lowest point since I have started liking them back in 1983 (the Leavell years). I now officially concede that I was wrong when I made the quote last year that Walt Williams was the worst player I had ever seen start a game. Several of our CBA'ers have passed Walt in this category and as pathetic as this is...........................Walt is now one of the better players on this team (that is not necessarily a compliment). I actually found myself screaming at the T.V. the other night "Pass The Ball To Walt". Walt has no place on a competitive team, however he has found his niche on this professional CBA team and must be commended for that. By the way, anyone who thinks that we should have been able to beat the Bulls has got to be on crack cocaine. Wake up and look at the lineup!!! Go to any casual basketball fan (like the many up here in Cincy) and talk to them about Cato, Thomas, Torres, Brown, Norris, Langhi, Willis, Collier, Morris etc , etc and they don't even know who these people are. We are certainly not to be mistaken with the Lakers and Celtics teams of the 80's. Don't worry because things could be worse and you could have our Bengals who play like this for decade after decade!!!! Let's just hope that Les gets us a center with the first or second pick next year and this nightmare (that really started with the disastrous offseason problems) will be over. I am a true fan and will continue to watch beating after beating, however I am a realist as well and know that our lineup does not guarantee us more than one or two wins until Stevie comes back. Just some random thoughts........................
