Its not a big deal to me if i play or not. I play regularly at the wellness center so i get my basketball need fill. I joined the team because you guys were missing players at that time. I am still up for having 9 players. I really think that in each game we will have a player missing in action so having an extra player won't hurt us. If all 9 players show up at a game then i will let someone else take the minutes. Again i play regularly at the wellness center so i really don't care if i get the minutes. I just want to win. I really want Adam to play because his presence will give us the chance to sweep the whole league.
Lets just have 9 players going into the league and we will see how it goes. Ofcourse everyone has to agree on it.

Before anyone makes a decision, can we have more of the majority of the team decide what they want? My $0.02: People can be on the roster but not always did everyone show up to every game. There are a lot of minutes to go around, especially if someone gets injured or in foul trouble. Matchups dictate a lot of the game. For the PF/C spots, we have me, mogrod, and Stack as PF/C role. I having a chance to get in foul trouble b/c I am trying to get blocks. mogrod has confessing to be out of shape with two bad knees. Stack is more of a perimeter guy but can get some boards. I think we need another guy to step in that can guard a 'big' the way Omega was able to do. OS impressed me by blocking his own man's shot numerous times throughout the season. Without him, we are lacking another intimidating defender. So I say let's make sure that we have a vote from as many players as possible before making any decision that effects the team and our chances of going undefeated in the post season as well as the regular season.
^^^My thinking exactly. It doesn't hurt us to go with 9 players. I know i will miss games and others will miss them too.
He is in his own world but he is a crucial part of the team. We need the comic relief during the games.
You know, I'm thinking this as well. I didn't mean to cause a situation with my posts. I just wanted to a) have the Stalkers win and b) didn't want playing time to be an issue. Along with Rocketfire, I felt like the team should decide what is best and, if it was for the best overall, I could step away. But, thinking about it more and more, adding Adam as a 9th player wouldn't be bad. Like others have said, we might have a missing player or two at times. Also, I really don't know how my knee is going to respond to playing again. Haven't really played since that first season. I was going to just play and deal with whatever happens with it. But, with Adam on the team, I don't have to push it as much. Again, I apologize for the drama I caused. I just wanted the best for the team. I vote yes for adding Adam.
i agree with everything said before but there isnt alot of minutes either. its almost a tossup. as yao said, omega will be a big loss down low because he could gaurd every position out there. he didnt score alot of points but was the total team player with minutes and playing the toughest most consistent d out there. if we can get another guy if his stature for this season then it would be a huge plus. - and that comes with no offense to mogrod. so if i had to vote, and everyone agrees, i say yes to adam. i mean why not? we all want to win here right and even if he dosnt turn out to be the players clutch says he is, it gives ur versatility definately. but, as said before, minutes and subbing has to be figured out ahead of time...so we have our set times to do our thing. im not sure i like kams idea because we cant take some one out if they are feeling it...if a team is playing good out there, leave them on the court. we are all pretty new to each other and i dont think we have found our groove together...so it will be another learning process. we have scoring thats for sure...boards and defense should be a focus this year. points SHOULD be fairly easy since we have a scorer at every position. clutch, looks like your calling adam again.
Its on 59 by bellair and fondren. Its a memorial hospital wellness center but HBU students can go with their ID. Actually you don't even need ID, all you need is a name of a HBU student that has been to the wellness center before and you can get in. HBU basketball players play at the Gym so you can run games with them. I ran some games with couple of 6'10 dudes. It was fun.
I want to start, and I want to play all 40 minutes, and i need a contract extension already. I got myself to feed you know. What ever you guys want to do, i'm cool with. I think I may miss one game.
Guys i got some good news and bad news. First the good news, i have finally got in contact with Marcus. The bad news is that we cannot play in the tuesday D league. This is what he said. He said the guy at the front desk made a mistake and shouldn't have taken the money to register us. He said that they had reach a max # of teams and just can't fit another team in the schedule. (BS i think) He gave us 3 options. 1) He can transfer our registration into the next tuesday D league. So we will be set with the next D league. 2) He can refund the money and we won't be playing at all. 3) He can transfer us on Monday C league. I think the monday C league he was referring to starts next monday. Anyways, Do you guys wanna play in the C league or what????
^^^that sux. the difference b/t C and D league is like night and day. as much as i'd think you guys would dominate D league, you'll likley get crushed in C.
I think having Yao and Adam will make a huge difference. When we played C league our tallest player was Omega. It would interesting that's for sure. I'd come watch you even if it was C league. We were always competitive for the 1st half but their interior offense just wore us out inside. Having Adam (I've seen him play, he's good) and Yao will make a huge difference with clutch and stack bombing from outside. IF you guys do DO c league. You WILL need Adam.
So what you guys wanna do?? You guys wanna play in the C league. I think Yao said that he can only play on tuesdays. I am not too sure about mondays either.
