Obviously it won't happen, but I would love for McCain to pick Sanford as his running mate. I'm hoping that he runs for President in 2012, and he seems to be the popular choice of the Liberty Caucus. (Great stance: Leading South Carolina in rejecting the Real ID.) Rumor was that he told Ron Paul that if he would have shown well enough in early states, he would have endorsed him before the SC primary. Sanford would destroy whoever Obama or Clinton picks as a running mate in debates, and if (when?) McCain gets beat in the general, Sanford would establish himself as early front runner for 2012.
Shouldn't Trader_Jorge have been in here by now screaming about all the bandwidth that giant picture is sucking up?
