I just got word that the spurs will be using our facilities for practice sometime in Jan when they are in town. Supposedly they cant practice at Toyota Center, because of a Hockey game. Anyway, anyone have any special requests? Maybe trip Tony Parker, drop a dumbell on Tim Duncans foot, drown R.Horry in the whirlpool? haha jk

You could give Robber Horry a meda. Other than that, I don't care. Just don't hurt Tim Duncan. I like Tim Duncan.
    What?

Play Hakeem's "Ultimate Dreamshake" vs. Robinson on continuous repeat on the big screen!

EDIT: Oh, it's NOT at Toyota Center. :(

I think a BIG Rocket poster/banner with Scola's face as you enter the building would be a nice welcome.

I don't mean to sound like a stick in the mud, but wishing injury on someone is really not cool. How cool would it be if somebody was talking about kicking T-Mac in the back, or dropping a bowling ball on Yao's toe?

    This is beneath us.

Now, if you could spit in their food, that would be fine.

What facilities are the Spurs using? The Rockets have two courts, the actual game court and a second court that wouldn't be effected by the Hockey game?

Wishing injury on someone may or may not be cool (I personally see nothing wrong with it and routinely wish for injuries to basketball players I don't like).

But joking around about potentially messing with them? Give me a break.

Here's something to think about: We wouldn't be joking around about taking any of these players out of the game if we weren't scared of them to some degree. So if nothing else, it takes a measure of respect to wish small, insignificant injury on someone else.

But I never understood the idea that wishing something bad would happen to someone else was so wrong. "You should never EVER wish that on anyone!"

Or what? Will something bad happen to me? Doubtful. I don't have any magic wishing powers to cause something bad to happen to them, which might conceivably warrant retaliation against me by some invisible power.

So at worst, in retaliation, someone else would wish something bad would happen to me. But since no one has any magical wishing powers, I really don't see the big deal.

And on topic, I think you should put fire ants in all the towels. Maybe some thumb tacks beneath all the seats on the weight equipment. Try to injure Tony Parker's groin in some way. Let's take him out of the Eva Longoria game, too.

No problem dude, that wasn't really the point of my post. I just found it amusing that the Rockets had two courts yet were sending another team (and now apparently other teams recently) to another facility. Reason being is the Rockets used to schedule an earlier pratice so the other team could get in a late workout at the facility. When that didn't work out the teams used to practice at either UH or Rice which is where I would guess you work, lol. No big deal.

each court at TC does not have it's own lockerrooms. when you practice, you also need lockerrooms. The hockey game would be using them.

That's true. However, the Spurs will be practicing somewhere between 11 and 2 if it's an off day and 10-11 if it's a game day (I'm sure it's not because in that instance they would just do their game day walk through in a hotel room). The Hockey players won't need the locker room until the evening time. No real reason to debate this though

Cancel the hockey game. Who gives a damn about soccer on ice anyway?
