The Spurs still won, even when they were 9-21 from the FT line as a team.

Shaq still sucked at the FT for LA.

Great analysis! I wish Yao would have shown up this year in the playoffs.

    That is pretty funny!

This just makes it even more humiliating that the Rockets were routed 4-1 by LA.

    16pts for Parker.

31-15 Spurs. Parker is the difference.

Yeah it is sad, especially because that we couldn't finish. We were in those games and played well, except for the last and 2nd game.

WOW! Spurs score 33 in the first quarter. LA gets a measly 17pts.

Gawd it's awesome to see Jackson whinning to the refs! And what the hell. Did JVG help the Spurs?! The refs are suddenly calling 3 secs on Shaq like crazy in this series compared to our series against them.

this just shows that our performance was fools gold. I knew it all along. Mangment is just dumb so they wont relize it, and they probalby will make real minor changes. Expect another first round exit for the rockets.

Man, give the Spurs some credit. They are the champions, and the better team. It took the Spurs a few tough series' losses before they got to where they are now...the Rockets will hopefully turn into a similar product. Give them more than a year before dismantling the team altogether.

*The Spurs in '99 was a much different team. Yes, they still had Duncan, but Robinson was their main cog.

Geez dude, stop with the pessimism. You are starting to suck. ZRB has been brought back to the light.

We will be better next here. Hell, this was our first time in 5 years to make the playoffs. I really didn't think we could go beyond the first round but I believed. And it got even more exciting when we kept the games close.

This is the most biased officiating I've seen in a long time. The refs have clearly decided that the Spurs are too good for the Lakers to compete with unless the Lakers get a few breaks.

I know it's human nature to help the losing team. But the consistently dubious, consistently pro-Laker calls in the 3rd and 4th quarters so far are ridiculous. They're calling the Spurs when the Lakers fall down on their own, then calling the Spurs again or no-calling when the Lakers plainly knock them down.

Just woke up from a little nap and decided to check out NBA.com.
Well, it seems Parker just had another good game.
    Yup, yup.

Steph, Francis, and B-Diddy might all be more athletic and gifted, but Bibby and Parker are the best young PGs in this game.
Say it with me, he's not even 22 yet.
    :p

Lakers don't go to Shaq-Fu enough, period.

Robinson the main cog? Are you serious?? Duncan should have won the MVP in 1999. TD did win the NBA Finals MVP.

dont think Drob was a main cog, but he was an efficient player the first 2 seasons with duncan. He avg a double double those years even with Tim, even though Tim was the #1 option. And yes did Karla robbed Duncan of the MVP that year, at least Duncan went on to get the one MVP award Karla will never win

I don't know about you guys, but I just LOVE seeing the lakers lose. For just a sec. during game 2, I almost forgot about our beloved Rockets losing in the first round. I never thought in a million years that i would be chearing for the Spurs. But if it means seeing Aunt Karla crying on the side lines after they get swept in LA, so be it.

That Parker crossover on George was sick! Totally made him look foolish.
