I did not say it happened every game or with every referee.

But I can't think of that series between the Lakers and Indiana... and then one with the Lakers and the Kings... and not believe that Bryant got calls.

The refs got exposed by instant replays in Game 6 versus Indy. There were 2-3 late blocks of Bryant with *not* body contact and *no* contact except on the ball.

Never have I seen anyone argue before that the NBA isn't notoriously bad about calling stars differently than anybody else. It's not every game... but very often.

I'd just like to echo a sentement from another thread:

    "DIE Lakers DIE!"

But to pinpoint it, insert "Karl Malone" in place of "Lakers."

SA needs to win 2 in a row now, if only to eliminate the "dirty one." I'm pulling for the boys from 'Sota... and I fear their chances vs. LA are less than stellar. Meanwhile, I feel KG could polish off Timmy.

Go SA (for 2 more games).

btw- that gif that BiGGieStuFF posted is now hosted at my pics page (link in signature). Couldn't resist. I named it "0.4" - and the file name is "physicallyimpossible.gif"...;)

I don't even hate the other lakers as much as i used to, its mainly just malone. You have to respect Kobe, Shaq, and even Fisher for their play, but Malone has not done jack this series. Once again, a guard makes a clutch shot as Malone stands and watches (or as he holds someone), and then he proceeds to high step it off the court like he's deon sanders. Payton and Malone have done nothing but coattail this series, and it will prolly get them a ring if they can finish off the spurs.

Can't wait for the game tonight. Should be a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to seeing Duncan walk off the court, his head drooped, once again not a repeating champion.

If the Spurs don't step up their D their season is going to end tonight.

Seriously, what the hell happened to their D? Lakers are scoring at will.

Three minutes left, down by only 6, and they go to hack-a-Shaq? Isn't that a little early?

They compared our 4-1 series to Spurs 2-0. Looks like the Spurs flunked worse then we did, IMO. We did bring them to OT and didn't lose our games as bad.

    Heres to the Pups.
