Ok, someone made the comment that since there is no edit, that we should have a spelling contest again. Not being around for the first one, I'm really interested to see how this one works.

    Example- Spell Wachovia.W-a-c-h-o-v-i-a. Yay!

    Anybody Anybody?

I will do it again as long as people dont count me out because of grammatical errors, last time if someone forgot like a 's or something they would say the word was spelled wrong. But that isnt a spelling error its a grammatical error.

Not really, I just used to see people with sig's that read runner up in the spelling contest, and I was wondering if someone would recant that episode of BBS history...

Plus, I think I already had stupidest thread of the year much much earlier...

Isn't Wachovia a city? I thought we were playing Scrabble rules, where capitalized letters don't count. :D

It's probably a city, but here in DC it's a bank, where I have to go as of now.

why would we want to retract a previously held spelling contest? :D

besides, it was done in the last 10 months..wait a little while and let te winner have their full year reign.

I made the comment, but I was mostly joking.

I wouldn't mind doing it again, but it wasn't really a spelling contest. It was just a thing where when you misspelled something, you'd be eliminated and have to put "My spelling sux." in you sig. (I think it was sux. May have been sucks, but by spelling it wrong, it kind of makes it better.) I can't remember how I screwed up last year. I think I put the wrong form of "its" in a post, but while I was wondering if it was grammatical or spelling, I think I misspelled something while talking about John Stockton. I can't remember what I misspelled in that post, but it was yet another reason for me not to like Stockton.

Rockets2K is probably right. We should wait a while. IIRC, we had edit off a while and then near the end, we had the contest.

Wachovia Corporation is a diversified financial services company that provides a broad range of banking, asset management, wealth management, and corporate and investment banking products and services.

The local Arena up here is called "The Wachovia Arena" Simon and Garfunkel start their upcoming tour here Oct. 16th. Of course it's sold out but tickets for this concert are on EBay for $500:eek:

Woah! You actually have what I posted. Radical.

I thought I messed up with his name, but I couldn't remember how. I thought I put Jon or Stoktoon, or something like that. Instead, I did something much worse.

Im getting used to not having search. Forum sorting helps as long as you can remember roughly what the thread title is or who started it.

If I feel like it, I try to do what you do. But that's very rarely. I didn't even feel like looking up what I messed up and you did. I forgot to say thanks for showing me what I did...so..um...thanks.

BTW, I'm already misspelling. woah=whoa.

At least I know how to spell John Stockton now. :p
