What are they gonna do? chop down your trees? send the mounties after you? hurl hockey pucks at you? pour scalding hot maple syrup on your face? force you to listen to Celine Dion or Avril Lavigne?

yeah, maybe you better pay it.

if you ever plan on visiting canada again you should pay it. dont want to end up in a canadian jail. :D

you should pay it off though. something may come up where you have to visit canada and you dont wanna run the risk of ending up in one of canada's maximum security prisons. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

ok, ok... just pay it off. :)

My dad got a couple of tickets in Montreal 20 years ago. He figured he wouldn't be going back and thought the tickets were unjustified anyway, so he didn't pay. About 5 years ago, the Montreal police started calling him a couple of times a week asking him to pay. He had a lot of fun talking with them about it, but declined to pay. They kept calling for about a year and then sold the debt to a collection agency, who likewise have not been able to collect.

Anyway, don't be stubborn like my father. They won't be able to arrest you until you return to Canada, but they can put a blemish on your credit report and harass you for payment.

I find Avril's fake punk act hoooooot. She's a rebel with a 4.0 GPA. Too bad she married the midget from Sum 41.
