Is anyone going? The matchups are 1. Texas A&M vs. LSU 2. Texas vs. Seton Hall 3. Houston vs. Baylor The games are tomorrow at Reliant Stadium. I dont think there are any more $12 tix, bcause I went up there to get some and the the cheapest one they had were $17 tix, so I bought 3 of those for my brother, dad and myself. You only need 1 tix to see the games. I think they are blocking off half of the stadium with the basketball court on one side and fun activities on the other side. Should be a great thing to got to. Key Players to Watch Texas A&M -- Antoine Wright, Benard King Jr. LSU -- Ronald Dupree Texas -- TJ Ford, James Thomas Seton Hall -- Andre Barrett Houston -- Louis Truscott Baylor -- Lawrence Roberts, Kenny Taylor
I had a pretty good time at the event. I didnt have time for the fanfest so I didnt go to that. Although when I looked at it it was like an obstacle course and basketball shooting and cheerleaders practicing. If anyone saw me I was wearing my Francis jersey to the event. Texas A&M vs. LSU I was seating in like the second to the top sections, but they were decent seats to see the players. Benard King and Antoine Wright took the game over they were the ones shooting. When one was making a shot then the other was. I dont really remember a lot from LSU but they made a roar at the end of the game and almost one. But Texas A&M won 79-77. Also can anyone tell me what a media timeout is. They had a lot of those. Texas vs. Seton Hall I moved down to see this game. I was in the field seats close to the tunnel Texas would come out of. This game was exciting. TJ Ford is better in person. He just makes the game fun to watch with his exciting passes and how he pushes the ball consistently. In this one play he came out of nowhere and nearly dunked on both teams for a put back but barely missed. It got oooohhhhs from the crowd. He made some crossovers that were great also. Deginald Erskin was unstoppable in the second half. Im not sure if he did miss a shot in the half but it seemed like he didnt. This game was pretty much a blowout in the end so I forgot the the score. Texas won. At the end of the game I was beside the tunnel to get autographs or a high five. There were all running into the tunnel and I thought they were leaving until I called James James(for James Thomas). Then he said straight to my face "I'll be back". I waited for a while almost not believing what he said then I see Deginald Erskin come out first. I called his name but he didnt hear me. Then one by one most of the team came out. These are the players that autographed for me: TJ Ford James Thomas Drew Gresset Chris Ogden Sydmill Harris Kenton Paulino Brandon Mouton These players were real cool. I wanted Royal Ivey but he just stayed on the band section talking to someone. Jason Klotz was there but he was talking with a girl so he didnt sign for me. I didnt see Boddicker or Buckman at the end of the game either. Anyways my first autograph was the easiest to talk to Drew Gresset because I had the most conversation with him. Most players justy sign and walk away but he didnt and it was pretty cool. Kenton Paulino was funny. When he was coming toward the section he said "Now I'm not TJ Ford". I said I know you you're Kenton Paulino. Really Kenton Paulino has probably the most legible handwriting out of the others who signed for me. About the Houston vs. Baylor game I dont really know what happened since I left early not worried about this game and plus I was already tired and hungry. I did hear the starting lineups and saw TJ Ford was still at the game watching it with I think his parents. I also think he was watching because Kenny Taylor was there. That was my time at Space City Classic.
I am very proud of the Aggies win over LSU. I go to pretty much every home game for the Aggies. They have realy come together this year as a team, and are 3-1. I hope they keep it up. PS Antoine Wright is the real deal!
