who was that Donnie guy? why had I never heard of him? Why did Johnny go upside his ass? just b/c he was laughing? or did Johnny overhear something??? i'm almost positive i remember someone punching Tony in last week's teaser for tonight's episode... what happened to that? i think johnny is safe for now. i loved how ralphie played off the whole "dildo" thing, making janice look like a sickie. my favorite line of the night was "We could do this ourselves. Ninja style." when chrissy is telling silvio they could whack johnny sac oh and was that person at the college (and dr. melfi's psychiatrist's child) a guy or girl? i seriously couldn't tell! IT'S PAT!
That was just one of Ralphie's guys, and Johnny was just being a baby...he didn't overhear anything. The scene in the preview last week was Danny getting punched by Johnny. The scene were Johnny told Tony what Ralphie said was hysterical.
it looks like Baccala is gonna be some muscle next week! sweet! and a.j. got more than 3 lines today! wow!
Johnny just imagined Donny was laughing at Johnny at his wife's 90 pound mole because he imagined everyone in Ralph's crew would have heard the joke. Spoilers galore What was the point of the AJ thing with the garage, to show how mean he was? So does Johnny Sack still get it? Does anyone question the sanity of hiring a bunch of killers where one guy is blind, and another guy is on an oxygen tank? I was half expecting Carmela to picture Furio and have Tony morph into Furio at the end of the episode. Is this the end of her fantasizing about Furio? Where's Aid?
Busy work for AJ. He's a nonfactor so far. I think Sac is off the hook. Is sylvio the snitch? He's touring with the Boss, isn't he ?
now exactly who equates love with money? carm gets new clothes, tony gets some lovin' (sure she's not quite in the moment, but T doesn't care!)
you know, i'm gonna have to watch the 11pm broadcast just to figure out if that college student (melfi's dr's child) was a guy or girl, seriously.
It was a woman. She said she dated Dr. Melfi's son before he came out and shuddered when she said she kissed Dr. Melfi's son during that time. She could have been Johnnie Sack's wife's younger sister.
spoilers - Paulie is the snitch - he told Johnny Sack about the "mole" joke and about the money Tony made on the side with the property I think. He wants to run with Johnny's crew when he gets out, I think he is pissed he is in jail, mad at Tony.
Yeah, I know Paulie did. Although, they never showed him saying the words. They cut the scene when he was about to tell him.
Paulie is gonna get whacked before this is all said and done. I want to see what will happen once Janice tells Tony what happened with Ralphie. I'll bet she tells him that Ralphie MADE her do obscene things to him with the "neck massager."
we get to welcome back that wacko Gloria tonight! is it me or is something wrong with Gandolfini. I don't know if he gained weight or has health problems, but he seems to breathe pretty heavily when he speaks...
there were some great lines in this episode, which was better than others this season. i literally laughed out loud when Janice said "Remember mom with a bone, It sounded like half price day at the lipo clinic" Furio's stare when the french dude opened the door was priceless! AJ spoke! i liked the AJ story line... he sees that "white collar crime" pays a helluva lot more than OC. When he was trying to hide his woody from his mom and when he got blue balls at home... man that was hilarious! thank goodness Trillo was a dream. I don't think I could take a return of her story line. and of course, Artie in the mirror! and it looks like Tony might have accidentally set carm's cousin (financial guy) up for a problem with the feds... seeing as how they now know about patsi and the suits! i was pleased with this episode. it was only missing good ole' Paulie. glad to see he's out of the pokey next week!
wow. quite possibly the best episode of "The Sopranos" to date. So much drama, so many hilarious lines. Ralphie's prank on Paulie's mom was priceless. I couldn't stop laughing aloud! The fight scene. damn! i don't know what to say, i'm speechless perhaps the finest hour of television I've watched in my lifetime. the entire season just redeemed itself tonight!
oh and... and Tony finally knows about Christopher's present day drug problem. and is Junior really losing his mind? that ice cream bit got me wondering. i still can't get over this episode... just when David Chase starts to disappoint me, he pulls me back in!
