Wow, that would have given the Sonics a serious jumpstart to their rebuilding. In fact, that could have constituted as retooling. They could have had Bibby and Dickerson in the backcourt, with either Griffen or Battier at the 3, Rashard Lewis at the 4, and some scrub at 5. They would have Radmanovic and Patterson coming off the bench. While not a great team, that team would have a lot of young potential. As for the Grizz, if they offered that trade BEFORE the SAR trade, then thats just stupidity. Having Payton play with nothing more than Gasol and Swift, I don't would sit too well with the Glove. OMG they could have instantly rebuilt their team. They already have Rashard. They could have drafted Rodney White with the 6th pick and Troy Murphy with the 12th pick. That would have given them a line up that looks like: Bibby Dickerson Lewis White Murphy I think they are nuts! ------------------
