So when was the last time anyone in here actually debated about the ISSUES. every post in here is nothing short of National Inquirer material.

i would like to hear why some of yall like who you like and why. let's DEABATE and DISCUSS about the candidates and lets try to keep it civil.

    as for me.....

i really have no clue. while i believe W's intentions are good, the people he surrounds himself scare the hell outta me. it seems as though they have their own secret agenda. hell, cheney has been caught FLAT-OUT LYING on national TV. our freaking VP! i just cant trust those guys.

however..... Kerry just seems way to weak to be the leader of our nation. i truly felt this was his election to lose and it seems like he's doing just that. he has no fire, no charisma, no personality. and i still hardly have a clue about where he stands on some very important issues.

    Bush/Edwards in '04.

There is actually a scenario (albeit highly unlikely, but look at 2000) in which this could happen, if Colorado votes to split their electoral votes according to percentage rather than winner takes all (and they may have already voted to do this - can't remember - it was on the ballot). With a split electoral vote from CO, an electoral tie is possible. In the case of a tie, the House votes in the president and the Senate votes in the vice president. (I think I have that right - might be the other way around.) If the Senate goes Dem (also a stretch) and the House stays Republican, in the case of a tie we'd be looking at a Bush-Edwards administration.
