    You can only get ticketed for stop signs the city puts up, not Wal-Mart.

    Is that true in every state because that is also the case in Arkansas. I remember a girl running a stop sign on my high school campus and the police here wrote her a ticket but she got it thrown out because the city/state didn't put the sign up.

    I don't know but someone ran a campus stop sign and ran into my sister many years ago. It wasn't a city sign so she wasnt held acountable.
