Back to the original post to get away from MAGA violence. 1) Strict gun control. F gun industry profits and the right wingers on the S. Ct who misinterpret the Second Amendment.You will always have nutjobs. Let them try to kill lots of folks with knives as we have seen in a couple of similar attacks in Europe. It is less deadly. 2) Start trying to address the declining living standards and economic insecurity of working folks, particularly white working class guys. Very few of these folks are in the top 1 to 10% of the population that the economics of the Repubs and Clinton style economics has catered to. 3) This will make less of the white working class willing to vote for a white billionaire narcissist who lied about helping them.. 4) Quit doing stupid wars. In todays world if you insist on invading folks in distant countries or killing them with drones you might find that one of their cousins or neighbors lives in the US and gets upset as has been downplayed in several of the incidences. It is interesting that we now have a debate as to why we even did our stupid Iraq War. Oil? Weapons industry profits? Israel/Saudi Arabia/ neocon nutters or plans for a New American Century? . Dubya's boredom or wanting to outdo dad? etc. 5) Get back to the old media rules that prevent large parts of the country to have only right wing MAGA or worse political talk shows on car radios feeding crap into their brains. It will be hard to unwash their brains, but it is best not to incite them or create new extremists.. 6) etc. There are concrete largely economic and policy reasons why this is happening more often. And, having the victims in our prayers or endless probing of the psych problems of the shooters will not be very helpful. You have to wonder when the 1% will be willing to sacrifice some of the money and power to gradually reduce the violence. As we see with the attack ads from the Repubs scaring people about MS 13 and Muslims etc. they feel that these incidents still help them politically. I guess they feel immune personally as for the most part they are not the victims.

Trump/GOP/Fox News approved conspiracy theories, the ones he cited all week, were the impetus for this man's massacre, carried out with the GOP/NRA's weapon for killing civillians of choice the AR-15, but that's even beside the point now. This was the same reason for the mail-bomb assassination attempts, and many many other right wing terror attacks that have proliferated in the last 10 years. This is a stain upon the nation, and no amount of bothsidesism should be able to assuage the shame. I don't doubt that many will do it though and go on participating in the same vile garbage that causes this.
The thing is, we got 3 of those in the same week, and plenty of examples before then. The left just don’t have this many “crazies“.
Did you miss the speech where he was praising a lawmaker that committed a violent felony while his fans cheered it on? Trump said that was his kind of guy. Did you miss the speech where Trump was offering to pay for the legal expenses of the man who sucker punched a protester at this rally? Did you miss the speech where Trump offered to pay the legal expenses of other supporters if they violently attacked protesters? Did you really miss all of those speeches or the news coverage of the events?
