Illegal aliens are in the country illegally.

The remedy is to remove them from the country.

Every country in the world does this. It's common and accepted practice.

Giving them a ticket and allowing them to remain in the country makes literally no sense. Do they get a ticket everyday? A one time ticket? Your position is laughable and preposterous.

It's not common practice, nor is it accepted practice. In fact, it's long been accepted that we don’t separate families over minor offenses. Since Reagan (and until recently), it’s also been common practice not to deport people over minor things.

Separating families and causing lasting harm over minor violations is morally indefensible. Hiding behind “it’s a crime” doesn’t make it any less immoral.

ps... I didn’t say anything about a ticket. I said speeding is breaking the law, and we don’t separate families for that.

    This isn't true at all.

    Obama deported 5.3 million people.

You think that didn't separate any families?

Trump should be careful what he wishes for. Republicans have been more effective in gerrymandering Latino districts because they have a disproportionate share of non-citizens, who cannot vote. Additionally, Texas and Florida would probably lose one representative each in the House, in addition to billions in Federal funding.
