I know I was there but it wasn’t like the whole city was on fire. It’s the over the top incessant spamming of tweets and misuse of inductive logic. Yes there are Islamist in London. There are islamists jn Minneapolis. It’s not like Sharia law is going to be imposed anytime in the foreseeable future yet so many of the posts are rife with language of “invasion!” “Colonization!” If anything it’s the people who spam this kind of stuff that has the absolutist view and why there is so much fear and distrust. This is the point of why generalizations are frequently problematic. You of anyone should appreciate that given how many generalizations of Libertarians get thrown around here.
If you only start being concerned about Islamists the second before Sharia law is about to be imposed for everyone, like in Afghanistan, and attempt to brush off every concern before that, you are highly disingenuous and/or a ****ing moron.

When people talk about cities burning or being on fire from rioting, they are not saying literally the whole city was on fire, they are saying there were massive riots that set fires and caused millions in property damage. If the standard is the whole city being on fire, it will never be met (outside of natural disasters like Pompei or Paradise, CA). The issue is how many Islamists there are in these places. When they are marching in the streets in the tens of thousands and winning elections, I think it is fair to call it an invasion or colonization. Radical Islam didn't organically grow in these places. There wasn't a person who checked out a copy of the Quran at the public library and started converting their friends and neighbors. It was imported wholesale. Doesn't bother me. I just post about my view of libertarianism. If other people are not smart enough to appreciate liberty, that is a them issue.
