I said that he did all the denigrating himself. That is criticism of him as a person and not really a taunt. Certainly not a taunt of his disability.

I would agree. There is a linguistic difference between "Special needs parent" and "Parent of someone with special needs." You hit the nail on the head.

Hate isn’t exclusive to any political affiliation. However, one party is led by an individual who openly mocks the disabled and spreads hate towards others.

 

The poster I saw mocking the disabled in this thread wasn't from that party.

 

I could show hateful posts from posters from that party on this forum, but it’s not that important. They aren’t in politics or in a leadership position.

As I mentioned, a party is literally led by someone who openly mocks the disabled and harbors hate. That is significantly more impactful and important than your average Joe or Jane.

And of course none of the right leaning posters ever make angry hateful posts going after “woke”, “Leftists” or anyone else they disagree with.
