high school civics classes don't exist anymore. if they did, and were properly taught, we'd be in much better shape.

The dude needs to go, he is a disgrace to the state but the corrupt folks at the gop and the corrupt business people in Texas need each other. I am not sure why everyone was so shocked by this, he simply corrected himself.
The new gop, when one of your team members does the right thing, you do this. I will say, the gop will hammer the country with Border issues for the next 8 months and this might be the straw that gets trump back in office. The fear they are putting into people who have not been to the border or probably haven't encountered an undocumented worker is real. I do wish Biden would do something positive about the border, as soon as the gop refused the bipartisan border bill, if he would have closed the border for a short time to reassess the situation, even if he was challenged in court and lost it still shows he tried something. The gop will use the border to their advantage, whether it's true or not is beyond the point, they are hoping to fear monger their way back to the WH and right now this is the biggest issue I see. I am not sure what Biden can do, but now is not the time to lay low on a topic that is scaring the suburban housewife
