The article only says the violent crime rate is down. The article I posted (reporting on trump last minute before he left office blocking deportation of Venezuelans) added the information that Venezuelans were immigrating to *other Latin American* countries. Where does the article say Venezuelan criminals were going into the United States? I will wait...
Actually, the article claimed increased migration of both criminals and non-criminals. Which basically includes all possibilities. So it it concluding that crime dropped because, well, people were migrating. Next, where does it claim "criminals were discard(ing) your identification documents (from any country), walk across the southern border and claim “asylum” has turned America into a refuge for the world’s worst criminals" ? Which is what the car sales man was claiming. Also where does the article saying their gangs were coming here? Since that's what the antiwoke tweeter claimed. And again, the article I cited and quoted stated that Venezuelans immigrated to other Latin American countries. You would think Congress would want to act on this right away and pass a bill that reforms asylum laws and has a lot more funding for border security rather than wait until after the election.
