I have 2 questions/problems that I could use some help with. Do you know of a free program that is similar to Photoshop? I have a lot of pictures that I want to enhance, and everytime I just go to school and do it because the computers there have Photoshop, but I can't keep doing this forever. Also, do you know of any programs where I can mix and make music for free? Thanks.

For photos, I would check out Picasa. It has some simple editing tools and it's free. Not sure about your other question.

Check out GIMP. It's a great open source image editing program.

If you are used to photoshop, use gimpshop, free and same layout as photoshop.

For free audio mixing/recording, you can use Audacity, but it kind of sucks, the good stuff is not free.

    If you have MS Office:

Start > Programs > MS Office > MS Office Tools > MS Picture Manager.

    Simple solution :)

If you're just editing photos, I'd go with Picasa as well.
