Hey Jeff, Since you did such a great job at getting the entire Rockets Organization to staying in Houston with your website on SOR "Save Our Rockets." I was thinking you may want to start a new project in SOD. I know that if we send enough e-mail and letters to Hakeem and tell him how much the city wants him to retire as a Rocket. Hell, we can send him old pictures and video of the glory days. That should get his emotions going. He will definitly change his stance on wanting to be waived. Hakeem is just like your grandparents. As they get older they want to get more attention. If we can get this going in the next couple of days, Hakeem will be "the dream" once more. And everyone will be happy and we can move on to trying to make this team great again!! ------------------ Rocket2000...A year to remember.

Im with you on this one, RM95. Basketball is going to go downhill quickly if owners start letting players do whatever they want. That is what the whole contract purpose is about. If they guy wants out, then kick him out with a fair deal. But DO NOT let him go for free. ------------------ its all good and fun till someone gets hurt ... then its absolutely hilarious!
MoDunks: Two things on this one... 1. Dark Horse has a point. Part of what I did was to set an example. I am glad I could help but I can't do everything. SOR was VERY hard work and I don't think I'll ever take something like that on again no matter how happy I am at its success. 2. Because I don't agree with Hakeem on this one, I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask to "save him." I think he was out of line the entire time and I don't want to have to coax anyone to continue to stay and, as RM95 put it, honor his contract. Sorry. ------------------ Me fail English?
