Social networking segregation?

Is this a thinly veiled racist thread? Just askin'. (Ya know the whole "minorities don't go to college" premise.)

I had read an analysis last year regarding trends of social networks but I can't seem to find it.

Summary
Myspace became to popular. so all cool kids went to Facebook.
Then Facebook opened up and became the new cool hot spot


small story about people who feel facebook isn't cool after they're parents friend requested them and decide to leave. Issues with facebook owning all of their data. a la google.


Linkin - is what facebook used to be and caters more to professionals.
