does anyone else think that Real is the Blazers/Mavs of Euro soccer? You know...the philosophy that just because you throw a bunch of talented high paid stars together that it would automatically result in triumph?
In a way, yes. they always have the best players on their teams and spend ludicrous amounts of money acquiring those players. But the difference is, that they pretty much achieve results that the Blazers or Mavs could only dream of. They either win La Liga, or Champions League, or both in most seasons.
