He's on the roster and will be with the team for the semi's (assuming Mexico can make it that far). An elbow is an elbow, that fact that he can't even throw an elbow very well doesn't justify doing it. And Blanco of all people should be able to handle mind games, it's one of the staples of his game. I'm sorry I didn't list every cheap shot from the current roster. And it's not prejudgment if it's based on past actions.
He's talking about you prejudging current players about what past players did. Guillermo Ochoa will NOT attempt a cheap shot to Eddie Johnson like Oswaldo Sanchez did. I will say it again: OS should NOT WEAR a MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM SHIRT again after that. OS should have been suspended by the FIFA for that.
is there an english broadcasting thingie for usa panama? id look, but i have you guys. 2-nil usa. i turned it on oonee vis eee on with LD taking a PK, and then i look up and i hear spanish broadcaster say gol gol gol.
It looks terrible but so far I haven't read of any player complaints. Costa Rica has been playing with 10 men for all the 2nd half. All they need to do is it take it to penalties.
Yeah it does. The coaches from both teams were complaining about it before the match. Match is going to extra time.
They had 4 red cards total. Overall that was a pretty crappy game, I guess the play on the field matched the condition of the grass. Whoever's in charge of maintaining the field there should be fired.
i agree... it's embarrassing for me to say i'm from houston when we give them fields like that. mcnair should fire some people because even though the reliant group runs the fields, most people associate that stadium with his team. he should be embarrassed too.
honestly, except for at texans games, it's looked like that at every event i've ever been to there... WAIT...except for the Big XII Championship when VY rolled over CU. I don't remember it being a problem for that.
Texans' games are ALSO like that. Hugo Sanchez blamed the field in New York, and he didn't blame it in Houston (since Mexico won in Houston). http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=333162505&size=o http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=333162616&context=set-72157594451208597&size=o I was talking with my wife's dad about the field... he said they closed the roof AFTER it started raining and that's why the field was muddy... I missed almost the entire first half. GUADALUPE looks scary... Mexico will have its hands full with those speedster strikers... speed kills Mexico... no defender is that fast... no wonder Landon has killed us recently...
I'm shocked they've even made it this far. I've been glad to see them do well since there are a couple of Houston players on the team, but now all bets are off and I can't wait to see us put 5 goals past Onstad.
We'll be the ones give the ride rides on Thursday. Just you see. If De Rosario scores against the U.S. he will be in for a lot of abuse when he comes back to Houston.
Indeed. I do believe that Canada is getting better and has a good shot of qualifying for WC2010. The US is going to roll them, though.
